How BashMash Can Help

February 15th, 2009

Each BashMash project is focussed on one selected organisation.  We use our skills with new media and technology to deliver solutions that help address some of their specific immediate and long-term goals.  We work closely together in the run-up to and during their dedicated BashMash Collaboration Day to make sure that the outcomes produced at the end of it are relevant and appropriate  to their organisational goals.

Those outcomes will vary from project to project, and could include any combination of the following, and more besides:

  • a community blog to promote the work of the organisation
  • social media tools to engage with service users and donators
  • new or refreshed logos and marketing to create a strong identity for the organisation
  • an information structure to better manage organisational logistic
  • an SEO overhaul for an existing website
  • timely, relevant and dynamic reporting to demonstrate the value the organisation creates
  • applications or plugins to leverage the reach of existing social networking platforms, such as Facebook or Myspace
  • online viral marketing material to promote the organisation to new and existing audiences
  • creative content to explore and promote their areas of interest across different platforms
  • practical advice on sustaining a new media presence and becoming self-sufficient with the resources delivered

For most seasoned practitioners, it doesn’t take a great deal of effort to make a relatively small contribution that can make a big difference to charities and third-sector organisations.
